It’s a big task to balance everything in your life, so why do you keep making harder on yourself? Stop taking everything personally, it’s not all about you. Most of the people that seem bent against you have their own problems and you are the last thing on their minds.
You have a fairly good life, but every day you choose to see obstacles where there are none, to make a big thing from small issues, to ignore all the good that is present in your life. Take some time to have a conversation with yourself. It’s long overdue.
Make sure that you understand that your life gets easier when you see the world for what it is, not for what you made it up to be. Though seeing the world in a way that helps you evolve and live a better life is indicated, this view should be avoided if you use it as a tool to keep yourself stuck.
All that you believe is holding you back is probably false, and even if it’s true, what’s the use in holding on to them?
Let those things in the past, where they happened, and make room for new experiences. Experiences that can help you grow, and be a better person.
As long as you allow fear to dictate what you can do, there will be nothing that you can do. Everything that’s worth it is on the other side of fear. For you to reach it, you’ll have to face the fear and move through it. Be assured that it’s not going to kill you, but you can be sure that it’s going to change you.
Why is it so hard to be yourself? It should be the easiest thing to do, but somehow you are afraid. When you were born, there were no rules. So, you did whatever came naturally. As an adult, you no longer do that anymore because you convinced yourself that who you are is not good enough.
The solution you found was to try and be someone else. It seemed to work for a while, but not anymore. Being someone else all the time is exhausting. It takes so much of your energy that there is nothing left for other things.
What if you try to just be yourself? Yes, is going to be difficult to give up the masks you’ve so carefully constructed, but it will take most of the pressure from your shoulders. When you find the courage to stop hiding, that will be far less than you need to think about. You will worry less and you will live more.
Who are you, really? Do you even remember? Deep inside, you know, but you covered it all with who you wanted other people to see. Most people tend to see through your bluff and the others just don’t care. So, why all this effort on your side?
Isn’t it easier to be the same person everywhere? There are no lies to remember, no scenarios to play by, and no one to impress. Being yourself is all you had to be all along. Why not do it from now on? You might like it.
