Time to choose something

What is the use in knowing what you need to do if you are not going to do it? You’ve been looking everywhere for ways to make life better, to achieve your goals, to make your dreams come true, but there are no results.

Nothing changes in your life without you having an active part. All the recipes you’ve been looking for have one common flow, they are useless without you acting on them. For a long time, you’ve been trying to find the best way to transform your life, but nothing you found was exactly what you needed, or so it seemed.

Why was that? Maybe because you focused on the tool rather than focus on the action. You, now, have a collection of “how to” articles, and templates for everything, but your life is not much changed. Knowing means nothing in itself, what you do with that knowledge is what’s important.

The time has come for you to choose something to act upon. It’s not even that important what you choose, as long as it prompts you to move. You’ve been in the same place for so long that you think there’s nothing else out there. It even seems that you don’t know to do anything else than what you’ve been doing.

It is only the noise of your frightened mind. It is frightened by the possibility of change and wants to stick to what it knows, even if it’s not healthy. Use what you know to take you to a better place, learn as much as you can along the way and never forget the lessons.

You will never be completely sure that yours is the right choice, or that you are using the right tool for the job, but sometimes this is less important than you think. Life is a continuous movement, a movement that you need to adapt to, and you adapt to it through the actions you take based on your choices.

Your actions have a single purpose, to help you make progress. In terms of actions, there is no right or wrong choice, both come with lessons to learn, but only if you are open to them. All the knowledge you have is either useful or useless, according to what you decide to do with it.

Doing nothing is still an action, and that is keeping you trapped inside a cage you have created. One way to escape is to understand that there is a lot more that you can learn. As long as you hold this attitude, you will get the most out of everything, just keep in mind that learning is not the same thing as accumulating knowledge.
