You’ve been through a lot in your life, and it changed how you see the world. But is this new view doing you any good? The fault you find in every person might be real, but how is that improving your life?
There must be a few people left in this world who are still good, but if you look for what is wrong with them, you’ll find it because nobody’s perfect.
With every time you got hurt, you learned to avoid something. By now you are avoiding so many things that you keep the whole world outside. A certain amount of caution is necessary in life, but you can’t protect yourself from everything.
The people you meet are both good and bad and to decide if you let them in, you need to see both. What happened in your past doesn’t have to become your cage. You can learn the lessons and still be fearless.
Most of the time in your future, there will be things and people you’d want to avoid, but it’s not fair to allow your fear to blind you. There is a lot of good in the world, and there is a lot of good in your life. You just need to learn how to see it again, and this takes effort.
You’ll have to trust that there is good in the world and look for it everywhere. Soon enough you’ll see more good than bad, and this will change how you see your own life. Life was never about what happened to you, but rather about what you chose to take from it.
It’s hard to notice the nuances when you are focused on surviving, but they are still there. The sooner you learn to reframe what is happening into something that can be of use, the sooner you’ll start to notice how your life changes for the good.
You’re always telling a story to yourself. You take what you see and what you feel, mix everything in a way that makes sense to you, and that becomes your reality. The problems start when all you see and feel is altered by your past experiences. Then you start reliving the same experience over and over, and if that experience is bad for you, it ends up breaking you down.
It is important to be able to trust yourself when it comes to how you see things. The closer your inner reality is to what really happens, the more capable you’ll be to draw a useful conclusion. Even if in your mind things can be done the way you want, in the real world, being able to see everything for what it is, is the best ability to have.
Try to educate yourself to see the world as it is. This will take away much of the pressure you’re feeling right now. Don’t be the one that keeps holding you back by seeing obstacles everywhere. Choose to be the one who sees solutions everywhere. It’s a better perspective.
